Dr. Mackenzie King Platt is more than just a dentist—she’s a passionate healthcare professional dedicated to creating confident, comfortable smiles for her patients in Lakeville, MN. A proud graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dr. Platt has been transforming dental experiences since 2003.

Her journey in dentistry began with a simple yet powerful mission: to help people feel proud of their smiles and at ease during dental visits. In 2007, she took the bold step of opening Platt Dentistry from scratch, building a practice founded on compassion, skill, and genuine patient care. Her greatest joy comes from those moments when nervous patients leave her chair saying, "That was so easy"—a testament to her gentle approach and exceptional clinical care.

What truly sets Dr. Platt apart is her approach to both dentistry and team building. She leads a close-knit team that is more than just professional colleagues; they are genuine friends who enjoy each other’s company both in and out of the office. When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Platt enjoys a rich life filled with outdoor adventures. She loves spending time with family on Wisconsin trails, enjoying side-by-side rides, and warming up by bonfires. A die-hard Gopher football fan, she’s always ready to cheer on her team (except when they’re playing the Badgers—then she hopes for a tie). Recently, she’s been challenging herself by learning to golf, adding another exciting chapter to her personal pursuits.
